Founded on a single conviction
Awa Hope Group of Schools was established on 29th January 1997 in Sabo, South Ibie, Iyuakpi, out of a conviction shared by our founders: that every child in this community deserved access to quality education without leaving home to find it.
What began as a modest nursery and primary school has, over nearly three decades, grown into a full group of schools — expanding its facilities, its staff, and its academic offering while holding on to the same personal, disciplined, family-centred approach it started with.
Today, generations of pupils who once sat in our earliest classrooms send their own children through our gates — a trust we do not take lightly.
Our journey so far
Awa Hope Group of Schools is founded in Sabo, South Ibie, Iyuakpi, opening with a Nursery and Primary section.
Growing enrolment prompts the expansion of classrooms and the introduction of additional teaching staff.
The Secondary section is introduced, allowing pupils to complete their basic and post-basic education within the same trusted community.
Awa Hope continues to serve families across Sabo, South Ibie, and Iyuakpi, with a renewed focus on modern facilities and a stronger online presence.
